3D Model Color is the color system made for 3D prints: 129 tones plus six system mediums – from the first coat to the finish. Water-based and filament-safe, developed and made in Bludenz, Austria.

No compromises for 3D prints
Artist acrylics struggle to grip smooth filament, and model paints need primers or attack sensitive plastics with solvents. 3D Model Color is the third way: a paint developed for 3D printing.
Direct adhesion
Bonds reliably to PLA, PETG, ABS and ASA filaments, even without a primer. Unbox, shake, paint.
Filament-safe
Water-based instead of solvent-based: gentle on common filaments, so your print stays intact.
Maximum pigmentation
Full coverage from a thin coat. Fine details and deliberately visible textures stay razor sharp.
129 tones. Eight families. One system.
129 tones built to work together – triads for highlight and shadow, glow tones for fantasy, metallics for the finish. Every tone carries a clear name like “Light Skin Midtone (830)”: reorder in seconds, never “the brown one” again.

Fantasy glows.
For tabletop, fantasy and sci-fi: family E brings the glow tones, family H adds fluo, ColorShift and metallics – from spell glow to orc armor.
A modular system
Six system mediums, and each answers a real question from the print bed. Everything sold separately, everything made to work together.
Primer
Not an adhesion primer – the paint grips on its own. Primer lays down a color-neutral base, especially on dark filaments, supporting an even, vivid coat of color whenever you need it.
Leveler
Your answer to layer lines: evens out ridges from larger nozzles and visually smooths surfaces.
3D Model Color
The paint itself: highly pigmented, satin finish, outstanding adhesion and coverage straight onto typical 3D-printing materials.
Varnish
Protection for hard-working pieces, UV protection included – in matte, satin and gloss. For everything that gets picked up.
Retarder
Tunes flow and open time for airbrushing: smooth gradients instead of a dried-up nozzle.
